How protected is the TownHaus from scratches?
Our own dog has been living in her TownHaus for 2 years without any scratches to the finish. The TownHaus is protected by a multi-coat finish that is very tough and holds up well through time. The interior of the TownHaus is designed to be smooth to reduce scratching.
My dog likes to chew, is the TownHaus a good choice for me?
The TownHaus is made of wood and can be chewed by dogs. If your dog has a problem with chewing, we recommend that you practice crate training your dog in a wire or plastic crate first. The TownHaus can be destroyed by excessive clawing and chewing, so you want to make sure you have crate trained your dog before you purchase a TownHaus.
How hard would it be to clean the TownHaus in the event of a dog "accident"?
We recommend the TownHaus be used for dogs and puppies that have already been potty trained. The wood is protected with multiple coats of a hard polyurethane finish which make it water resistant. We recommend you purchase a bed to fit inside of your TownHaus that has a washable cover.
How hard is it to assemble the TownHaus?
Your TownHaus is easy to assemble and requires only a Phillip's screw driver to put together. Your Haus will arrive in a box with all wood parts, hardware, and instruction manual. Assembly time is approximately 20 minutes. Customer service is always happy and available to help you walk through the processes.
How many days does it take until the product is shipped?
Your TownHaus is shipped in less than 2 days from our warehouse. The shipping time varies by location.
I am looking for a different finish than you offer, can you custom finish a TownHaus for me?
Currently we are not set up to offer this option. We are always expanding and creating new benefits to our products as well as creating new product lines. Please contact customer service and tell them what you’re looking for, and be sure to check back with us often!
How hard would it be to clean the ZenHaus in the event of a dog “accident”?
The ZenHaus is water resistant. The water will not penetrate the fiberglass and is therefore easy to clean.
