DenHaus | About | Designer Dog Crate Furniture

DenHaus started in a living room when Sarah, Chris and their new dog, Amber, got tired of the ugly crate she was living in. The couple said “We can make something better for her, for us.” And they did. And that’s how DenHaus got started.

Today, DenHaus helps pets and their people live happily together by providing ways for people to share space and express love and appreciation for their pet without sacrificing their style.

At DenHaus, our mission is to help you and your pet grow closer, share space & life together and celebrate your relationship.

Our Beginnings

It all started when a Red-boned Coonhound named Amber and her ugly crate entered the lives of Sarah and Chris near the Pacific Northwest town of Seattle, WA.

After staring too long at the ugly crate in their living room, the couple decided to put their woodworking skills to use to create something better.

Sarah and Chris went to work designing a space for Amber that would give her the happy, comfortable and safe room she deserves and that would fit with their home’s décor and function as an end table.

After many friends asked where they could find this unique combination of dog crate and end table, Sarah began producing and selling the TownHaus in 2005.
